Our curious and bewitching animations hypnotised thousands of urban wanderers for a continuous 12-hour period overnight as part of Melbourne’s 5th annual White Night event.
Amid the laneways and music-filled streets, crowds drifted toward Carlton Gardens where our psychedelic designs created illusions of the Royal Exhibition Building deconstructing and opening dimensions to eerie and whimsical worlds.
The 8-minute show began with the building in a peculiar passive state before slipping into a deep slumber. A countdown on the clock signalled the audience, inviting them to experience a kaleidoscopic mix of dreams filled with windup toys, spooky skeletons, and fluorescent carnival rides – all meticulously mapped with incredible detail.
‘Rhythms of the Night’ was a major highlight of the evening, entertaining viewers from dusk ‘til dawn, awakening their inner child to experience the surreal.
